Re-registration

2nd and 3rd year

The re-registration procedure for the 2nd and 3rd years of the PhD will be sent directly by email to the doctoral students concerned, once the Individual Monitoring Committee (CSI) has been completed and re-registration has been authorized by the Doctoral School. Please allow two weeks for processing following the CSI.

For further information, please consult the procedure currently in force at Université Paris Cité: Re-registration in the 2nd and 3rd Years.

Re-registration in the 4th Year

Applications for an exceptional extension to the 4th year of the PhD are granted following an assessment of the application submitted by the doctoral student (see the list of required documents below).

Applications for a 5th year of the PhD are not authorized by the MIcrobeS Doctoral School, except in very exceptional cases involving sick leave, maternity leave, or for employees in active employment. In the event of pregnancy or sick leave, the PhD may be extended by a period equivalent to the number of days of maternity leave or sick leave taken. Please note that any extension of the employment contract must be discussed with the HR department responsible for managing your employment contract.

An Individual Monitoring Committee (CSI) is mandatory for any re-registration in a PhD programme.
